Godot 4
An editor dock and Tools-menu actions, aware of the current scene and script.
What it adds
An editor dock and Tools-menu actions, aware of the current scene and script.
Requires Godot 4.2 or newer.
Install the CLI first
No integration bundles the CLI — each one shells out to it. If lk is not installed and signed in, the integration installs cleanly and then does nothing, which is a confusing way to fail.
•
pip install local-keep-ai-cli
•
lk login
Install Godot 4
•
AssetLib tab inside the editor
•
Search "Local Keep AI", Download, then Install
•
Project → Project Settings → Plugins → enable Local Keep AI
Using it
•
The dock appears bottom-right; it sees the open script and the selected node
•
Tools → Local Keep AI → Explain Scene
Where to get it
Prefer the registry listing where one exists: it self-updates and your editor's own extension browser expects it. The repository is the fallback and the place to read the source.
•
Godot Asset Library (recommended) — https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset/5402
