Install the CLI first
No integration bundles the CLI — each one shells out to it. If lk is not installed and signed in, the integration installs cleanly and then does nothing, which is a confusing way to fail.

Worth knowing
•
Installing the VS Code Marketplace build into Cursor by hand works but will not auto-update, because Cursor never checks that registry.
Where to get it
Prefer the registry listing where one exists: it self-updates and your editor's own extension browser expects it. The repository is the fallback and the place to read the source.
